Written by Beatriz Calero Ok, almost all of us go shopping (very) frequently to Zara.
Good to know:
You are planning a shopping day in Madrid? That’s great! Here are some general tips for your perfect shopping day:
Like in the rest of Spain there is the so-called Spanish ‘Siesta’ in Madrid, every day between 02:00 pm and 05:00 pm. As Madrid is such a big city, most of the shops do not do the siesta anymore, especially the big ones. But small boutiques still might be closed during the siesta time, so make sure you check the opening hours of your favourite shops before you go there. You see all opening hours of the best shops in Madrid in our shopping categories or directly on the shopping map.
You love designer brands but you hate to pay the very high prices for your favourite items? Then Madrid is the perfect shopping city for you, as it has various designer brand outlets, like the “Las Rozas Village” (link: http://www.lasrozasvillage.com/), “San Sebastian” de los Reyes (link: http://ss-de-los-reyes.thestyleoutlets.es/es) and the “Factory Getafe” (link: http://getafe.thestyleoutlets.es/en). They are all located a little outside of the city, but they are very easy to reach by busses or the metro.
Lower prices than in rest of Europe:
If you are a tourist in Madrid we highly recommend you to check out the Inditex Group Shops (Like ZARA, Bershka, Pull & Bear etc.) as they have lower prices in Spain and Portugal than in the rest of Europe.
Have a nice shopping day!
Escrito por Beatriz Calero Yaaaay! One of our favourite fashion trends is definitely back!!! Tweed shorts (and blazers) will be fashionable again this season, and we are (literally!) dying to get our own Chanel-alike suit!
