Do you want to know what are you going to wear next Summer? With Madrid Fashion Week already behind us, it is time now to take a deep look and to summarise all the fashion trends spotted at the Spanish most popular catwalk.

MBFW Madrid last edition is been full of colour, energy and optimism. Those who had the luck to assist to the different shows know that this has probably been the funniest and most original fashion week in the city until now. Just as the shows, fashion trends will also follow a colourful and funny line during Spring/Summer 2018! It is quite difficult to sum up all what is going to be fashionable next Spring/Summer 2018, so we have decided to create a DressedIn Madrid S/S 2018 trends top 5. Here we go:

1. Maxi shoulder-pads and silhouettes with volume:

Fashion trends will be highly influenced by the 80s decade during next seasons. Therefore, we will see masculine suits, shoulder-pads and puffed sleeves.

Actually, one of our favourite fashion designers from Madrid Fashion Week, María Escoté, presented a collection absolutely inspired by Lady Di´s eighties wardrobe.

2. Vibrant and block colours:

Next Summer you should say goodbye to total black or white looks. On the contrary, give a warm welcome to outstanding and vibrant colours such as pink or yellow, among others. The great favourite is been RED, which becomes one of the most powerful trends for S/S 2018!

The best: Absolutely all reddish tonalities will be fashionable during the upcoming season so you should go for the one that best suits you!

3. Satin, shine and glitter:

When it comes to fashion you like to play safe? You always wear plain-discrete colours and materials? Well, then Spring/Summer 2018 won´t be your favourite season regarding fashion trends!

According to Madrid Fashion Week designers we will see sequins and glitter all around next Summer.

4. Country-American Style:

Designers such as Juana Martin and Teresa Helbig presented collections highly influenced by the American Country culture. Next season, be ready to wear tacks, feathers, organza and transparent and net materials.

5. Regarding accessories: caps and belt pouches will be a must!

Taking a look not only into the catwalk but also spotting attendants streetstyle, we found two big trends regarding accessories: caps and belt pouches!

You´ve probably already seen Gucci belt bags among celebrities and influencers. Now, other designers and brands will launch their own version of the most comfy (and controversial) bag in the fashion industry!
