To begin Saturday morning with Alianto´s fashion show is definitely a a good way to start off the weekend! Ailanto´s fashion show is always one of the most surprising ones out of the Mercedes Benz Madrid Fashion Week, and the DressedIn Madrid team had the privilege to attend it and to watch the entire show almost from the front row! Keep reading to get a sneak peak of Ailanto´s Autumn/Winter 2019 collection.

First thing that drawn our attention were the Roman columns and sculptures adorning the runway. Art and more specifically the Painter Fortuny have been the main focus of inspiration for the Spanish Designers during the creation of their newest collection. As a result, they developed an ultra romantic and feminine collection that will keep us dreaming next autumn/winter.

This collection is probably one of the most complete ones as we could see both daily cozy outfits made of oversized flurry coats and pants, and more elegant and dressed up looks made for special occasions!

Regarding materials and textures, Ailanto´s AW 2019 collection main protagonists will be velvet and sateen. It is known Ailanto have a taste for sophisticated women who desire to dress chic but comfy at the same time. That is why they always choose soft, gentle and light materials!

For the main colours, Ailanto have chosen a candy pastel palette such as light red and pink, cobalt blue or violet in contrast with neutral and earth tones.

But what definitely was the true protagonist of Ailanto´s Show during Madrid´s Fashion Week was the printed velvet (especially the flowered one).

Actually the Designers have admitted which is their favourite piece out of the whole collection: an statement velvet dress printed with flowers and birds. We saw it yesterday and we can tell you, it will blow you away!

As the only accessories, Ailanto chose romantic berets&caps and 80s XXL silver earrings. A simple but perfect touch for their outstanding looks.

Ailanto´s 2019 collection is perfect for those women who are not afraid of mixing&matching and for those who believe any (impossible) combination is actually possible if you do it with style!

For those who missed the show yesterday we have good news for you (we actually discovered yesterday during the Fashion Show). If you manage to get access to the Cibelespacio you can queue before the shows and become one of the lucky ones who get one of the free spots available!
